The Church (Christ's body on earth) is broken, and by inference so are its leaders, including me! Unless the leaders and leadership teams of churches and Christian ministries recognise this uncomfortable truth and ask for God's help to find restoration, we will not in my view see a revival that will last. Let's get the net ready by creating churches and organisations that are run by healthy leaders and their teams so that we are ready to welcome people into healthy churches!
Restore Central wants to play its part alongside many other ministries to equip the church, especially those in leadership, to become restored, Spirit-led, Bible-based, emotionally aware and relationally centred.
Who are we?
David Chadwick
David is the founder of this ministry. He has experience in running his own business and has led churches in Rayleigh, Essex and Caterham, Surrey. He has over 19 years experience in church leadership, both "Leadership-led" and congregational styles of church governance. He has worked supporting leaders and leadership teams of other churches and has a heart to support and help those called to this ministry to be more effective for Christ and find freedom in their calling. He is currently an elder at The Vine Christian Centre, Bridgend, South Wales.
Sue Chadwick
Sue has the experience of being married to "the Pastor" and all that that unofficial role entails: managing expectations, creating clear boundaries and protecting the marriage relationship, whilst pursuing her own career! Sue has a passion to support people in prayer and God often speaks truth and life through her with biblical and spiritual-based discernment.
David and Sue retired from full-time work in 2022, which gives them opportunities to support the church in various ways, including effective prayer ministry.
We offer a free consultation and then depending on what is required a time limited plan would be proposed including any payments to Restore Central for the services supplied.

Support for Leaders and spouses
Both the leader and their spouse can experience very difficult seasons in church ministry. Having been through tough times ourselves, we can relate, and hopefully create a pathway for restoration and fruitfulness.

What we can bring to help.
Just as Nehemiah's heart was touched so that he knew that he should go and rebuild the city walls of Jerusalem, our hearts have been touched in a similar way towards the restoration of God's precious church, His body on Earth.
Ezra and Nehemiah rebuilt the temple and the walls of Jerusalem, it wasn't that there hadn't been any temple or walls of protection previously, but that invading armies had destroyed both the temple and the walls.
Leaders and Churches can be similar, they can go through both good and bad times, just like OT Israel, but sadly when a leader or church goes through a season where they struggle they can find it difficult to get the right support. It's often their families and the leadership team who are affected the most when churches go through challenging times.
We aim to bring help, motivated by love, spiritual insight and experience to support them in finding a way forward to bring restoration for themselves and their church.

Support for teams of leaders
Working with a team of leaders can be a joy, but sadly there can be real tension and unresolved issues. When a team is divided or other difficult personal dynamics come into play this can cause real pain and damage. We at Restore Central can offer some prayerful insight and suggestions with these broken relationships.
Prayer ministry
David and Sue along with others who work alongside us, have many years of experience in prayer ministry, seeing God work in many wonderful ways to bring restoration to peoples lives.

Our heart is to see leaders and churches relate in the way Christ would desire. We hope to create opportunities for leaders to come together, sharing experiences, and supporting one another in pray
